It's been closed source for a long time while I worked on it on and off as a hobby research project, but yesterday the repo was made public for the first time under the MPL 2.0 license. A feature reel showing its capabilities can be found here: https://ktstephano.github.io/rendering/stratusgfx/feature_re... A technical breakdown of a single frame can be found here: https://ktstephano.github.io/rendering/stratusgfx/frame_anal... It's still in a very beta state (bugs and instability expected), but I felt like it was a good time to make it…

Transfer Thought is a No-Code platform that makes it so anyone can build VR apps directly in their browser. We started this company part-time, building it during commutes to and from work on the train. Over the last 5 years, we've experienced many ups and downs: - Gained early customers - Quit our day jobs - Secured angel funding - Survived with a short runway - Accepted into Techstars Chicago - Survived with a short runway (again) - Landed our biggest client ever, a Fortune 100 company - Despite our highest revenue, our burn rate caught up to us We looked at different ways to wind down the…

Hi HN, I've been waiting to post what I've been working on for a few weeks now:) Today we're launching LayerVault, which is a version control system made for designers. The URL is http://www.layervault.com LayerVault keeps track of what you're working on without adding extra steps to your process. The app runs in your toolbar and tracks changes you make to your files. Basically — each time you create or modify a file you’re working on, LayerVault saves a copy. You can then login, flip through its versions, and download a version from a few weeks ago. It's pretty neat — and we’ve built some…

devnexus is an open-source cli that gives agents persistent shared memory across repos, sessions, and engineers. It maps out dependencies and relations at the function level, builds a code graph, and writes it into a shared Obsidian vault that every agent reads before writing code. Past decisions are also linked directly to the code they touched, so no one goes down the same dead end twice. Still building it out but I would love to hear any thoughts/feedback

We're two college students building an XR(AR/VR) native Operating System with a custom kernel. We're also Open Source so feel free to check our GitHub Repository- https://github.com/manaskamal/XenevaOS . The journey hasn't exactly been easy, we've been criticized by a lot saying that whatever we're doing is impractical and that we're too ambitious. Regardless, we've been committed to reach our goal. Here to answer all questions and doubts. Answering one question beforehand because we know someone is going to ask it - Q: Why use your own kernel/ Why don't you use…
