I had an idea on a competition in a highly constrained environment: 32x32 matrix, with bots running code you write! The live site is https://kingofthegrid.com/. Each bot emulates Z80 CPU and they all get equal execution time, so the most efficient algorithm wins. Bots can move, eat, clone themselves, and most importantly, survive the competition. I have recently developed a bot capable of simultaneously scanning over 140+ sportsbooks around the globe. It analyzes millions of odds in real time and uses this data to find overpriced odds. The logic behind it is straightforward: it uses odds from all sportsbooks to calculate the probabilities of an event occurring. Racemetric is a simple athletic race registration and credit card processing app. It's all written in Haskell (Snap, Heist) and JS on top of PostgreSQL.
