I'm an engineer who spent the last year fixing everything I hated about monofonts (especially that double-story 'a'). I built a custom Python-based procedural engine to generate the weights because I wanted more logical control over the geometry. It currently has 700+ glyphs and deep math support. Regular weight is free for the community. I'm releasing more weights based on interest.

MonoLisa▲197Originally we (Andrey, Marcus, Juho) built MonoLisa in 2020 as we realised there's room for a better monospaced typeface for developers. The key insight was to make the glyphs slightly wider to make more room for design to make letters like m feel less cramped. Since then we've released a variable v2 (2022) and now we're happy to expand the typeface with a new family called MonoLisa Text. The reasoning was to cover *other* use cases beyond coding with this proportional font. We hope you give Monolisa a go as there's a free trial to try. We also welcome feedback!

Brat Generator▲122I have always been curious about how the fancy text styles on social media work. After researching Unicode characters, I started developing my own tool to convert simple text into fancy styles. Although I have created other similar tools, I believe this one is my best work. Similar tools exist, but they’re usually packed with annoying ads and pop-ups, have clunky interfaces, offer limited styles, and don’t make it clear that these fonts are for casual use, and not for situations where accessibility is a concern. Karektar is a React/TS app for building exportable bitmap fonts from custom glyph sets. You can submit your own input string, and the app will generate the gallery of unique glyphs. Build your own designs using the various tools available, then export it to an OTF format when you're done. This is my first front-end project, and one I picked up to learn React.
