Hello HN, this is the first functional reimplementation of AutoHotkey [1] for Unix-like systems, as far as I am aware. Half the commands are still missing, but everything important is done, as I have worked a lot on it over the past two months. Converting scripts into stand alone binaries is also supported. Hope this will find some adoption eventually. :-) - This implementation focuses on v1.0-like classic syntax from 2004 (!). I launched NumPad v1 on here a few years ago, and back then it wasn't much more than a thin CodeMirror wrapper around the calculator engine I'd written. Now I've rewritten it as a PWA that supports multiple documents, persists them to IndexedDB, and has a syncing service for paying customers. Syncing is handled by Automerge[1] under the hood, which should make it relatively easy to get document sharing working too. [1] https://automerge.org/

Hello, HN! Figure is a little side project I’ve been working on. Someone described it as Bejeweled meets Wordle. I built the puzzle interface and website in Next.js and React, which was a first for me and overall a great learning experience. The daily puzzle data is queued up in a PostgreSQL table. Another table stores anonymous solve stats.
