0Sql – Semantic Layer as a Service

Semantic layer as a service. Your app or your agent sends a structured query spec; 0sql returns one correct, deterministic SQL statement for your warehouse, with row-level security compiled in. It never connects to your warehouse, so your data never leaves your network.

What it does

Your code or your agent sends a structured spec: measures, dimensions, filters, cohorts. 0sql resolves it against your governed model and returns one correct SQL statement for your warehouse, in microseconds. Nothing is guessed, nothing is invented, nothing is executed. 0sql never connects to your warehouse, so your data never leaves your network. The same spec and model always produce the same statement, with row-level security already compiled in. That is the security, determinism and reliability your application inherits the day it stops assembling SQL by hand. Two measures from two fact tables, one conformed date. Each fact is aggregated at its own grain and stitched with a full outer…from 0sql.io

So I built a minimum viable SQL engine in Go. - Supports CSV files as tables - Supports SELECT, FROM, WHERE, LIMIT It's very simple: 1. Parses query string 2. Converts it into an AST representation 3. Executes the query against the CSV 4. Returns the results

Hi HN, I'm Dean, the non-technical co-founder of SchemafreeSQL. We released our beta version about a year ago. You can see the HN Post here https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=30291592 Today I am pleased to announce our initial release of our hosted SFSQL offering. A major concern from the HN Beta feedback we received was our longevity. Being a hosted database solution I can see why. We took that to heart and re-engineered our offering. We de-risked it by minimizing the amount of infrastructure under our management, fly.io manages customer's dedicated SFSQL endpoints,…
