A Genetic Approach to CSS Compression is a tool for developers working with stylesheets. It uses genetic algorithms to reduce CSS file sizes by finding optimized versions of code. The tool is designed for web developers seeking to minimize their CSS while maintaining functionality. It launched in 2012 and represents an unconventional method to stylesheet optimization by applying evolutionary computation techniques to the compression problem.
