A web app for creating interactive people plots and family trees

I built this as a side project because I found existing family tree tools either too bloated or too manual—I spent more time dragging boxes and aligning lines than actually mapping my family history. My goal was to make it instant: you just add the names, and the auto-layout engine handles the hierarchy and spacing automatically. It runs entirely in the browser and exports high-res PNG/JPGs. Would love feedback on the layout logic (especially for complex families) and the overall UI flow. Happy to answer any questions!

This app is a graphical programming environment for kids to learn coding by creating animations. Although we released it to the app store it's still more of a beta version and we would love to solicit feedback from HNers with iPads. To me, programming is something that kids could really enjoy but the obstacles in their way (getting a programming environment, publishing their code, learning syntax) make the barriers to entry unnecessarily high. It's dead simple. There's no fancy interface. Basic features are gone. That's all on purpose. If you're like me, you're always writing down ideas on pieces of paper. My webapp is like that, but for the internet. Let me know if you find it useful.
