Add To Do

Daily task planner. Add, Prioritize, Swipe to Resolve Tasks

What it does

Add To Do is different by intentionally removing the complexity of traditional task planners. There are no dates or categories—just capture a task and resolve it honestly as Done or Not Done. Swipe gestures make resolution fast, long-press and drag keeps important tasks at the top, and quick undo prevents accidental actions. An emoji picker adds visual clarity, while full offline use, no account, ads, or tracking keeps everything simple and private on the device.

A daily task planner. Add, prioritize, and swipe to resolve tasks.

Add To Do is a daily task planner built around one idea: capture fast, resolve honestly. There are no dates and no categories. You simply write a task and add it. Swipe right to mark it done. Swipe left to mark it not done, both treated as a valid outcome for the day. Tasks can be re prioritized anytime with a simple long-press and drag, so what matters most stays at the top of your list. Accidental swipes can be undone within a few seconds, and a built-in emoji picker helps keep every task easy to spot at a glance. The app works fully offline, with no account, no ads, and no tracking. Everything stays on your device. • I made OwnTime to balance between competing priorities in my life. The idea is based on two main influences: the concept of "roles" from "The 5 Choices" (2015), and my repeated failure to effectively implement time blocking due to the necessary flexibility in my role. The app allows you to define time budgets, which are not much more than a few mutually exclusive countdown timers. The UX is essentially that of a chess clock for an arbitrary number of players with configurable time. The whole point of the app is to kick you out of the running role/priority when its time is up.
