AdWait

Get paid for the time you spend waiting on AI

Visit adwait.ioAlternativestop 9% of August 2026

What it does

One small, clearly labeled ad sits in the corner while your AI generates, then disappears when the answer lands. You get 50% of the revenue for every ad genuinely viewed. No account, and AdWait never reads your prompts or responses. Cash out from $5, typically in about 3 days. Works on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, DeepSeek, Microsoft Copilot, Replit, and Base44, including long agent runs where the waiting really adds up.

A Chrome extension that shows one small, clearly labeled ad while AI writes — and pays you half of the ad revenue

Ads are coming to AI either way — so why not get paid for yours? AdWait shows one small, clearly labeled ad while the model generates, and puts the earnings right into your wallet. Your AI subscription might end up paying for itself. Heavy users can earn around $37/month simply from the time they'd already spend waiting for AI responses. Cash out from $5 to PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, USDC, or straight to your bank after advertiser verification, typically within 3 days. One clearly labeled card in front of developers, builders, and writers — during the seconds they're locked on a generating response. Billed on viewable impressions only: ≥1s on screen, ≥50% visible, active tab. Verify with your…from adwait.io

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
