What it does

AI-first task management software. Set up a workspace in two minutes, let the AI copilot turn goals into projects, and run every company you manage from one login. Free in open beta.
Alien Task turns a stated goal into a structured project — tasks, owners, and dates — in the time other tools take to load their settings page. Set up in two minutes, run every company you manage from one login. Most project management software hands you an empty board and a settings panel. You design the statuses. You invent the custom fields. You break the goal into tasks, guess the dates, and then spend the rest of the quarter chasing people for updates the tool could have surfaced on its own. The heavy tools answer this with more configuration. The simple tools answer it by doing less. Neither actually removes the work. Alien Task skips the blank board. I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
