Archyv

Batch photo & media management for Mac, entirely offline

What it does

Archyv is a native Mac app for photographers with thousands of files and no time to sort them. Batch rename from EXIF, convert RAW and HEIC, find duplicates, sort into dated folders, and write copyright and species metadata across an entire archive in one run — every change reversible. What's different: it runs entirely on your Mac. No cloud, no account, no AI model, nothing uploaded. Built for wildlife and nature photographers who want their images to stay theirs. One purchase, no subscription.

Batch rename photos from their EXIF metadata, convert RAW and HEIC, find duplicates, and write copyright across hundreds of files — every change reversible.

Batch rename photos from their own metadata, convert RAW and HEIC, and find duplicates — every change reversible. Archyv does in one pass what used to take an afternoon of manual work and a pile of separate utilities. Built for the people who manage large libraries — digital asset managers, archivists, photographers, and researchers. Batch renaming, metadata editing, format conversion, duplicate detection, and file transfer — organized into five simple workflows. Pick a workflow, pick a tool, set your options, run it. Narrow a big folder down to just the files you need — find the ones that already have a piece of info set, or the ones missing it. Standardize file names in bulk, with a live…from archyv.app

I've always had an issue with the screenshot flow on my computers. They save to the desktop by default and I can't seem to find screenshots easily when I needed it. They create too much clutter too. So I set out to solve this problem. My major concern was with privacy so I made sure to make it work entirely offline. Here's the final product, let me know what you think. - https://visionshot.app/

  • I made OwnTime to balance between competing priorities in my life. The idea is based on two main influences: the concept of "roles" from "The 5 Choices" (2015), and my repeated failure to effectively implement time blocking due to the necessary flexibility in my role. The app allows you to define time budgets, which are not much more than a few mutually exclusive countdown timers. The UX is essentially that of a chess clock for an arbitrary number of players with configurable time. The whole point of the app is to kick you out of the running role/priority when its time is up.
