This is only solution that replaces currency to restrain AI

What it does

BitTime: This is the only solution that replaces currency to restrain AI. - builder0821/BitTime

If value cannot flow (entropy change)~~ the world’s injustice will never end... 3> Every transaction is humans assigning value (BT) to goods while also defining the type of value (Type: Valueless | Depreciating | Value-preserving | Appreciating | Mixed | Pre-valued) and the lifespan of the value (Life). Therefore every commodity is a [Past–Present–Future] value line; every transaction creates new assets (Creates) for all humanity. All old and new commodities stack into total assets (Asset). Creates += BT / Humans ; #Everyone is an issuer and carrier of currency BitTime[Life] += Entropy = BT / Humans / Life; #The entropy-flow value is equally distributed across every time segment of Life…from github.com

Finding the balance between humans and machines has been the thread through my career. I always had a thing for AI and couldn't wait for it to actually deliver on what was promised. Now it does, and it's more important than ever that humans and machines keep working well together. AI makes creation trivial. Text, code, design, strategy, in seconds. But one thing AI does not create: independently verifiable proof of when something existed. Reproducing is now cheaper and easier than creating. Chronology becomes contestable at the moment it matters most. The universal problem was known. I…

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
