Bodyweighttracker.com
A very simple weight tracker with charts and CSV export.
What it does
I built this because I thought other bodyweight tracking solutions were annoying and bloated or needed me to download an app on my phone. It's nicer to use than a spreadsheet, especially if you have years of data tracked. Pretty simple product really.

I tried some web tools to track my workouts (specifically, running); some (like FitTrackee) came close, but I always found annoyances. So I decided to build my own. Specifically geared towards distance-based workouts, such as walking, running or cycling.

After decades of tracking my exercise programs in progressively more complex spreadsheets I eventually burned out on metrics and complicated periodization programs to the point where I had almost stopped exercising. I am now at a place where I simply want the minimal amount of structure and tracking to make sure I can maintain my fitness, so I boiled the entire concept down to what I felt was its essence: enough information and structure to remind you of what is needed today, and how it went on the same exercises last week. To reduce friction, the interface is kept as simple as possible.…

- PTProject To Help Me Lose Weight2013 · ▲18
Hi! I made http://weightgrapher.com/ Essentially, all the websites I've used between FitBit, LoseIT and MyFitnessPal have really poor graphing. When I joined weight loss groups and forums I found most people are afraid of getting on the scale just because of how discouraging daily fluctuations can be. I aimed to fix this problem by bringing exponentially damped averages into the weight graphing, and educating on using your trending weight to see how you're doing instead of the up-and-down of raw numbers. Thoughts? Feedback?

I went down the rabbit hole on a side project and ended up building this: Strange Attractors(https://blog.shashanktomar.com/posts/strange-attractors). It’s built with three.js. Working on it reminded me of the little "maths for fun" exercises I used to do while learning programming in early days. Just trying things out, getting fascinated and geeky, and being surprised by the results. I spent way too much time on this, but it was extreme fun. My favorite part: someone pointed me to the Simone Attractor on Threads. It is a 2D attractor and I asked GPT to extrapolate it to…

Hey all, I built this. It’s not trying to capture every autistic experience (that’d be impossible). It’s based on my own lived experience as well as that of friends on the spectrum. I'm trying to give people a feel for what masking, decision fatigue, and burnout can look like day-to-day. That’s hard to explain in words, but easier to show through choices and stats. I'm not trying to "define autism". I’ve gotten good feedback here about resilience, meds, and difficulty tuning. I’ll keep tweaking it. If even a few people walk away thinking, "ah, maybe that’s why my coworker struggles in those…
