Bürolingo

Duolingo-style lessons for surviving German paperwork.

What it does

It’s 7:59 AM in Berlin. Your finger is hovering over the F5 key like a high-stakes poker player. You’ve been refreshing the appointment page for 14 minutes. 🥨 Suddenly, a blue slot appears. You click. The website crashes. You refresh again, and the next available slot is in October 2037. I got tired of learning useless vocab, so I built Bürolingo: Duolingo-style lessons for surviving the German administrative jungle.

    I built a small app for FSI German CourseApr 2026 · detawk.com · ▲53

Hi everyone. I am built a small application on top of FSI German basic course and I need some feedback regarding it. It is a small web app. Currently only Unit 01 is available. I will feed in the rest of the units later down the road as I use it myself. Some of the features includes - Slow and fast audio with every single word and sentence in this app. You can play them with a click of a button. No need to rewind a tap back and forth. - Flashcards with keyboard control to quickly go through the material and drill them out. You can access the website at https://detawk.com/ .…

  • Hey we are Computable. We spent years building trading infrastructure at Jump Trading and Coinbase. From that point of view, compute looks like energy markets before 2000: everything trades through private bilateral leases, there’s no visible price, and nothing can be resold. The same H100 rents at a 2x spread depending on who’s asking, and once you sign a 24-month lease, it can never change hands. So we built a market for GPU nodes, sold by the calendar week. Here are three things you can do on it that you can’t do anywhere else: - Buy exactly the weeks you need. Three nodes for the last…

Hey HN! I wanted to share something I built over the last few weeks: isometric.nyc is a massive isometric pixel art map of NYC, built with nano banana and coding agents. I didn't write a single line of code. Of course no-code doesn't mean no-engineering. This project took a lot more manual labor than I'd hoped! I wrote a deep dive on the workflow and some thoughts about the future of AI coding and creativity: http://cannoneyed.com/projects/isometric-nyc
