Hi everyone. I am built a small application on top of FSI German basic course and I need some feedback regarding it. It is a small web app. Currently only Unit 01 is available. Hi! Wanted to share the project I really wanted to have. TLDR; this app lets you create your own list of words and you get a Duolingo-like experience (kind of, still needs a lot of features) practicing those words in their context. My English is not the best but not the worst either. But I realized I can't boost it up after a certain level! Hey everyone, I've been living in Germany for a while now and struggling to pick up German. Even though I finished a B1 level language course, remembering all the common German words has been tough. Launch day is here! This has been my passion project, to recreate Duolingo for chess! I always thought Duolingo had amazing "hooks" to help people learn new languages, so I implemented its spaced-repetition, reports and daily and weekly training reminders in a Chess learning platform for chess improvers! I built it in Meteor.js and React.js. I chose Meteor to be able to add Cordova in the future. The Caro-Kann course (for white) is completely free, if you guys want to try it. What do you folks think?

Hi When you are learning a new language, you need to practice different skills: reading, listening, speaking, writing. I find writing to be the hardest activity, not least because I have to look up words in the dictionary all the time, and that is a frustrating context switch. Here is an experimental CodeMirror-based editor, that lets you look up translations inline.
