What it does
Carthagine is an AI that converts a Figma design into a usable React hierarchy that slots right into your codebase. It allows developers to focus on the truly challenging parts of building an app and leave the boring, repetitive Figma matching to AI.
Convert your Figma designs into production-ready React code in minutes. Carthagine is the largest paradigm shift for frontend in the AI era.
Carthagine is the largest paradigm shift for frontend in the AI era. Our agentic AI converts your designs into deep, functional component hierarchies with state awareness, while matching the design pixel-for-pixel. Carthagine is now part of Mowgli. Carthagine's Figma import technology now lives inside of Mowgli - rebuilt to handle even the largest Figma files, with hundreds of frames on a single canvas. Mowgli has pixel-perfect React code export, and can also iterate on the output, design more screens in the same style, and make rapid changes. With Carthagine, you get a complete UI that closely matches Figma. All props are there ―from task images to events for every clickable element.…from carthagine.ai

Things snowballed quickly, I started talking to publishers, then worked like crazy through all of 2024, almost the hardest I've ever worked in my career, and launched the game in December 2024. i wanted to change the habit of reaching for my phone in the morning and doomscrolling away an hour so i built an app to help me. now i have to literally touch grass before accessing my most distracting apps the app is built in swiftui, uses the screen time apis provided by apple and google vision to recognise grass or not i'd love to get your thoughts on the concept.
