Chatsie
Free simplified smartphone interface for older users
Chatsie launched on February 3, 2022 with 102 votes, #343 of 2,645 launches that month and more than 75% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 4 years on.
What it does
My 81 year-old mother couldn't use a mobile, so I made a startup for a phone interface everyone can understand. "Chatsie Menu" replaces the Android launcher with a simple text menu. Our other apps simplify calls and SMS, and block unwanted notifications.
Chatsie is an easy-to-use phone for older adults the helps them independent and connected. Built-in scam protection and UK support give families peace of mind.
