What it does

CleanRepos is a simple web application that helps you clean up your GitHub repos. You have unused forks, abandoned and empty projects etc that may serve as a distraction if someone is trying to view your profile or see projects you work on.

It's useful for discovering related projects while browsing. It's based on a vectorized model trained on GitHub star data.   I built this in 2018 as a school project to bulk delete GitHub repos. It got 25k views on Medium and ~10k users organically, then I basically ignored it for years. Recently I dug into GitHub's community discussion board and some low hanging fruit for feature additions — archive, visibility changes, collaborator cleanup. GitHub's answer was always "use the API."
