What it does

Every month, browser features quietly finish 30 months of support and become safe everywhere. Nobody announces it, so old fallbacks and polyfills outlive their purpose by years. Cleared is a monthly email with five verdicts at most: what just became safe to use, what to hold off on and exactly why, and the code you can finally delete. Verdicts come from browser test data (web-features, wpt.fyi). The full archive is free and ungated.

Every month I check what changed in HTML and CSS, browser by browser: which new arrivals are cleared to use, and which fallbacks you can finally clear out. I keep the few that actually matter, and give each one a verdict : Cleared, Hold, or Skip. I publish the result in one email you can read in five minutes. Next issue: Monday, November 9 .
