Clicktrail
Keep attribution attached to every WordPress conversion
What it does
ClickTrail is a WordPress attribution plugin that preserves first-touch and last-touch UTMs, click IDs, referrers, and consent context across cached pages, repeat visits, dynamic forms, and cross-domain journeys. It attaches campaign data to WooCommerce orders and supported form submissions, pushes browser events, and offers optional server-side delivery with retries and diagnostics. Start with capture, then enable only the integrations you need.
ClickTrail is an open-source attribution engine for WordPress, JavaScript, browser, and server runtimes. Preserve UTMs, click IDs, referrers, and consent-aware events across the path to conversion.
Capture UTMs, click IDs, referrers, and consent-aware events before a cached page, route change, form, order, or workflow breaks the trail. The host owns the clock, consent state, storage, and destination. Canonical flat payloads map to a CRM, dataLayer, database, or endpoint. ClickTrail is split between a WordPress distribution and a JavaScript workspace with core, browser, server, framework, and workflow adapter paths. Provider acceptance, consent transitions, retries, purge behavior, and end-to-end runtime behavior still require verification per host. A click is observed in one runtime while a form, order, or workflow completes in another. ClickTrail keeps source context in a canonical…from funnelsheet.com

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
