Config manager for Claude Code (and others) – rules, MCPs, permissions
I use Claude Code across multiple projects with different conventions and some shared repos just as it so happens to be the real world. Managing the config files (.claude/rules/, mcps.json, settings.json) by hand got tedious, so I built a local web UI for it. This one started out as claude-config but migrated to coder-config as I'm adding others (Gemini, AG, Codex, etc). In plain words
Coder-config is a local web interface for managing configuration files across multiple AI coding assistants including Claude Code, Gemini, and others. It provides a visual editor for rules, MCP servers, and permissions, plus a project registry to switch between codebases and "workstreams" that group related repositories with shared context. The tool auto-loads workstreams when navigating to project folders and can be installed as a desktop app or PWA, eliminating manual editing of configuration files.

Open source, runs locally, no account needed. Feedback and contributions welcome! Sorry, haven't had any chance to test on other OSes (linux/windows)

Hey HN! I wanted to share something I built over the last few weeks: isometric.nyc is a massive isometric pixel art map of NYC, built with nano banana and coding agents. I didn't write a single line of code. Of course no-code doesn't mean no-engineering. This project took a lot more manual labor than I'd hoped! I wrote a deep dive on the workflow and some thoughts about the future of AI coding and creativity: http://cannoneyed.com/projects/isometric-nyc
