CoShareX

Fast paste, file share & multi-tool dev suite in one hub

What it does

CoShareX is a unified developer workspace that eliminates tab clutter. Instead of relying on fragmented, ad-heavy single-use sites, get fast pastebin sharing, seamless file uploads, and essential dev utilities in one lightweight hub. Features include client-side JWT decoding, multi-language code and JSON formatting/validation, fast data converters, and instant QR code generation—built for speed, privacy, and frictionless daily workflows.

Secure, account-free browser tools for modern teams. Peer-to-peer encrypted file sharing, instant code sharing, 23 developer formatters, and interactive skill challenges.

Share files over direct P2P connections, save encrypted code snippets, format data structures, and test coding fluency—entirely inside your browser tab with zero tracking. CoShareX gives you immediate, account-free web utilities that execute on your local machine. Launch any tool in a dedicated tab with zero setup. Send files directly between devices over encrypted WebRTC peer connections. Transfers stream directly without cloud storage limits, intermediary servers, or file size caps. Share formatted markdown documents, logs, and code snippets. Text encrypts in your browser before saving, with decryption keys kept solely in the URL hash fragment. Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
