You go to answer a message and Cue is already writing what you were about to say. It remembers your schedule, your people, and the way you talk to each of them. The places you go, the promises you've already made. It doesn't read your mind. It learns you along the way. Cue is a writing assistant for the Mac that helps you work out what to say and then say it well, for anyone who writes all day in other people's apps. It lives in your menu bar and works where you already write: WhatsApp, Messages, Mail, Slack, and any other app with a text field. There are two gestures and no third one to learn. Press one shortcut and a small panel opens next to your cursor with your actions in it, Rephrase, Polish, Formal, Casual, Shorten, Translate, and any action you have written yourself. I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy.
