Visit site ↗Alternativestop 11% of January 2026

What it does

Tired of streak-shaming habit apps? DayGame is different. You define what a good day means. Pull from Apple Health (local only), add custom metrics, and set your own weights. Get a daily score (0–100) based on your algorithm. Every day is a fresh game. No streaks. No guilt. Just one question: did you win your day? Built by a solo dev who needed this during grief. Free: 3 metrics · Pro ($9.99 once): up to 11 metrics + algorithm switching · No subscriptions. Android release coming in early 2026.

I am a software developer and in the last few months after recently becoming a father I was barely finding time for a proper workout. Recently I was reading about new research on Snack Exercises and how beneficial mini workouts of less than 2mins every so often, during the day are to our body. So, I decided to build an iOS App for me and others to help with this. The app generates a list of exercises that I need to tick to complete daily or loose my streak. The algorithm takes into account muscle groups and balancing the exercises to hit most main muscles. I also stayed going through all…

DayQuant- an app that helps you quantify and analyze your daily life2015 · ▲5

I showed this to HN a few weeks ago and have updated it a great deal since then. This app allows you to grade your overall day on a scale of 1-100, as well as on the criteria of productivity, social interaction and physical activity. You can then view your results on a long-term chart. There is also a program which analyzes the frequency of different grades. Check it out and let me know what you think! The website is DayQuant.com and it is on the Google Play store as DayQuant.

Hey HN! I wanted to share something I built over the last few weeks: isometric.nyc is a massive isometric pixel art map of NYC, built with nano banana and coding agents. I didn't write a single line of code. Of course no-code doesn't mean no-engineering. This project took a lot more manual labor than I'd hoped! I wrote a deep dive on the workflow and some thoughts about the future of AI coding and creativity: http://cannoneyed.com/projects/isometric-nyc
