What it does

DGate is an open-source, function-native API Gateway that allows you to create, secure, and manage APIs for your applications! Additionally allowing you to move simple applications inside of the API Gateway because it has a javascript runtime.

DGate offers a CLI tool to allow users to manage resources using the Admin API. Monitoring, debugging, verifying changes, and deploying resources can be done using the CLI tool. DGate supports replication of resources across multiple instances using the Raft Consensus Algorithm. This allows the user to scale the gateway horizontally and ensure high availability. Modules support JavaScript and TypeScript functions. This allows the user to write custom functions to manipulate the request and response objects. DGate plans to offer support for Web Application Firewall (WAF) to protect resources from common web attacks Users will be able to update/change these in real-time with no updates.
