DirDeck

A faster, browser-style file workspace for Mac

What it does

DirDeck turns file management on Mac into a focused workspace. Browse with tabs, save named Workspaces, put folders side by side in 12 pane layouts, and keep each pane's history and view state. Super Preview looks inside folders, archives, documents, spreadsheets, images, media, and 100+ formats. Preview batch renames, edit images, work with PDFs, search Finder Tags, and park files in File Transit. Everything stays on your Mac, with no DirDeck account required.

Download DirDeck by 松佳 李 on the App Store. See screenshots, ratings and reviews, user tips, and more apps like DirDeck.

Productivity Developer 松佳 李 Language EN + 9 More Size 8 MB Mac DirDeck is an all-in-one file management workspace for Mac, built for people who work across many folders. Browse with tabs, keep source and destination open in flexible panes, and return to each folder exactly where you left it. DirDeck keeps navigation, selection, view, and search state separate in every pane, so complex file work stays organized without a pile of windows. Highlights: • Organize frequent locations with nested bookmark folders • Wake global search from anywhere—find filenames and paths without remembering their exact folder, then jump straight to the result • Drag directly between 12 pane layouts • Park files…from apps.apple.com

  • I made OwnTime to balance between competing priorities in my life. The idea is based on two main influences: the concept of "roles" from "The 5 Choices" (2015), and my repeated failure to effectively implement time blocking due to the necessary flexibility in my role. The app allows you to define time budgets, which are not much more than a few mutually exclusive countdown timers. The UX is essentially that of a chess clock for an arbitrary number of players with configurable time. The whole point of the app is to kick you out of the running role/priority when its time is up.
