What it does

docmd is an open-source documentation engine that generates production-grade sites from Markdown with zero configuration. No heavy frameworks or complex setups. Just run `npx @docmd/core dev` in any folder with Markdown files to get an instant, SEO-optimized, lightweight SPA (< 20kb JS). It’s the only self-hosted solution that’s fully extensible and AI-native with built-in `llms.txt` generation, internationalization (i18n), and offline search.
