DSH PRO — DeepSeek Harness as an App
Free Mac app for DeepSeek Harness — no terminal, no setup
What it does
DSH PRO is a free Mac desktop app for DeepSeek Harness, the open-source AI agent harness — no terminal, no setup. Sign in with the AI subscriptions you already pay for (ChatGPT, Grok, Kimi, OpenRouter) or any API key, run local models with Ollama and LM Studio, track usage analytics for every model, preview your build in a built-in browser, and edit files right in the app. Built on DeepSeek Harness; not affiliated with DeepSeek.
DeepSeek Harness as a free Mac desktop app. Sign in with your AI subscriptions, preview in a browser and edit files.
DeepSeek Harness is an excellent agent harness that ships as a command you have to remember. DSH PRO is that harness as a Mac app you double-click. Sign in with the AI subscriptions you already pay for, preview what you are building in a browser that lives beside your chat, and get on with the work. Nothing is reimplemented and nothing is forked. DSH PRO layers a desktop shell over the published harness — so you get the whole thing, plus the parts a terminal cannot give you. Connect ChatGPT, Grok, Kimi or OpenRouter with the subscription you already pay for. Sign-in opens in your real browser, credentials stay on your Mac, and the models appear in the picker by themselves. Point the Preview…from dsh.bytefwd.com

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
