Duotone VS Code Theme

A hot new theme to spice up your workflow

Duotone VS Code Theme launched on January 31, 2021 with 81 votes, #502 of 3,157 launches that month and more than 75% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 5 years on.

What it does

This theme was actually inspired by the looks of my portfolio at https://bit.ly/husseinkizz-portifolio and it can really make your vscode look cool! ✌️

Extension for Visual Studio Code - ?? Stylish, New, And Dark VScode Theme!

Simply install this theme and apply some cool tweaks and bonuses below, you can leave them if you don't want to but if you want your vscode to look exactly like the one you see in screeshot above, give these a go. It's dead simple of course... Well, as with everything else this theme is not perfect, so if something is off the grid, please open an issue. Because, there are many languages and parts of VS Code I don't know about yet, so let me know if anything goes wrong. If you would like to change something personally, you can either open a PR and see if I'd like it added, or override the colours in your own settings.json file. Start upon that here:…from marketplace.visualstudio.com

It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…
