In plain words
Ezno is a type checker and optimizer designed for JavaScript and React codebases. It performs static analysis to catch type errors before runtime and optimizes React code for better performance. Developers working with JavaScript projects, particularly those using React, can use Ezno to improve code quality and identify potential bugs during development rather than in production.

Ezno is an experimental compiler I have been working on and off for a while. In short, it is a JavaScript compiler featuring checking, correctness and performance for building full-stack (rendering on the client and server) websites . The core of Ezno is a type checker for JavaScript . Type synthesis is analysing syntax and formulating properties of terms. Comparing the information on terms and how those terms are used, a type checker can prevent errors at runtime. Ezno's type checker is built from scratch. Getting the features I wanted required a lot of different functionality and needed several new ideas that as far as I know aren't present in any system or existing checker. The checker…from kaleidawave.github.io

ESInfer – Make JavaScript Type-Safe2022 · esinfer.com · ▲83Hello, folks. I'm Jiang, the author of ESInfer. I love writing Javascript because it has a prosperous ecosystem and is quick to get my hands dirty. However, sometimes it's painful when the flow is not fast to follow due to the lack of a type system. To solve this, I wrote ESInfer, a statical inference tool, to automatically type check and generate type annotations for Javascript. It works with pure Javascript without any add-ons to the language or user-space code and supports highly dynamic features, such as the modification of prototypes. It is still in the very early stage, which offers…
Swap.js – a JavaScript micro-framework (HTML fragments over the wire)2023 · github.com · ▲127Hi HN! I created this lib in the need of a simple and tiny framework to easily do AJAX-style navigation / replacement of fragments in the page, in a web application. For people who don't want to use client-side-rendering and complex frameworks à la React, there are nowadays a few "HTML-over-the-wire" libraries, like HTMX, Unpoly or this super-tiny one Swap.js :) One other key thing is that no external tool is needed: no bundler, no webpack, no TypeScript compiler, no minification needed. Just write HTML, JS (+ your preferred server-side language: PHP, Python, etc.) and it works. The…

A couple of years ago, I had an interesting idea. What if there was a marketplace where all the underlying tech was open-source? The order management system, the storefront, customer support, etc. The marketplace would simply connect to the seller’s infra instead of locking them in. If, for some reason, the seller is removed from the marketplace, their software stays with them and they can continue accepting orders directly. This model can be used to disrupt any marketplace from AirBNB to UberEats: building tech for home renters and restaurants and later, leveraging that to build a competing…
