Fibre AI
Hi HN! We're introducing Fibre - secure file uploads for Intercom. Fibre came out of a real pain point we hit using Intercom for support. We needed customers to upload sensitive docs all the time - proof of address, ID verification, business documents etc. However, customers kept pushing back - they didn't feel comfortable sending sensitive files to Intercom. Not forgetting the privacy and GDPR challenges, and the 100MB limit for file uploads. So what happened? Everyone just fell back to email. Which made things worse - unencrypted attachments flying around, compliance nightmares, documents…

What it does
Secure document collection for Intercom, Crisp and Zendesk. Files upload directly from customers to your own cloud storage - bypassing our servers entirely. Full control over where sensitive documents land, with custom branding and no 100MB limits.
Collect documents securely in Intercom - files never touching Intercom's servers and go straight to your Google Drive, S3 or Azure Bucket.
Your customers upload large files right where you're already talking to them. Files go straight to your cloud storage - never touching our servers. Your customers need to upload documents via support tools like Intercom, but file size limits restrict uploads and create security and compliance headaches . Large files bounce back, customers resort to email, sensitive data sits in inboxes, and your team wastes time chasing documents across multiple channels. Fibre lets customers upload files directly in your support conversations and saves everything straight to your cloud storage - never touching our servers. Files up to 100 GB per upload. Works with Google Drive, AWS S3, and Azure. Zero file…from fibrehq.com

Hi HN, I'm building ThirdCloud with the goal to replace Google Drive for everyone: more private, cheaper & maybe better UI/UX. So far, I've successfully implemented the main feature, which involves uploading and downloading files. Files are encrypted before being sent to IPFS network. Would like to hear your thoughts on this proof of concept.

HirosendNov 2025 · hirosend.com · ▲90I built Hirosend because I needed a fast and secure way to send files to clients without asking them to create accounts or navigate permission screens. Dropbox/Drive were too heavy for one-off transfers, WeTransfer felt clunky for quick sends, and I really missed the simplicity Firefox Send had before it shut down. Hirosend lets you upload a file, set expiration, add an optional password, or generate a one-time magic link. Recipients just click and download — no signup required on their side. Files are encrypted before being stored and automatically deleted after expiration. There are…

I went down the rabbit hole on a side project and ended up building this: Strange Attractors(https://blog.shashanktomar.com/posts/strange-attractors). It’s built with three.js. Working on it reminded me of the little "maths for fun" exercises I used to do while learning programming in early days. Just trying things out, getting fascinated and geeky, and being surprised by the results. I spent way too much time on this, but it was extreme fun. My favorite part: someone pointed me to the Simone Attractor on Threads. It is a 2D attractor and I asked GPT to extrapolate it to…

Autism Simulator▲779Hey all, I built this. It’s not trying to capture every autistic experience (that’d be impossible). It’s based on my own lived experience as well as that of friends on the spectrum. I'm trying to give people a feel for what masking, decision fatigue, and burnout can look like day-to-day. That’s hard to explain in words, but easier to show through choices and stats. I'm not trying to "define autism". I’ve gotten good feedback here about resilience, meds, and difficulty tuning. I’ll keep tweaking it. If even a few people walk away thinking, "ah, maybe that’s why my coworker struggles in those…
