Find out where your supplements are made & sourced

I made a table where you can find out the source/location of factory for where health supplements are made. This is a work in progress but it functions. At the moment you can sort by cGMP/GMP certification. * Full disclosure - if you purchase anything using the links, i earn an small affiliate fee (5%) I made this to help demystify the language behind product labelling, which in many cases is obfuscating the manufacturing and sourcing of certain products

In plain words

This product is a searchable table that displays where health supplements are manufactured and sourced. Users can filter results by cGMP/GMP certification status. It's designed for consumers seeking transparency about supplement production locations and manufacturing standards, which are often unclear from product labels. The table is ongoing work but functional. The creator includes affiliate links to supplement retailers.

I made a table where you can find out the source/location of factory for where health supplements are made. Then, I spent a year reading product labels so you can save time and money when buying supplements. This is that update. This is still a work in progress but it functions fine. My previous post was a simple database of company data showing ingredient sourcing/location. That took 10 days, this has taken me close to 9 months. BackOfLabel is an extension of that initial interest with dosage information at the product & ingredient level. This update allows sorting by many more…

Hey HN! This has been my project for a few years now. I recently brought it back to life after taking a pause to focus on my studies. My goal with this project is to separate fluff from science when shopping for supplements. I am doing this in 3 steps: 1.) I index every supplement on the market (extract each ingredient, normalize by quantity) 2.) I index every research paper on supplementation (rank every claim by effect type and effect size) 3.) I link data between supplements and research papers Earlier last year, I took pause on a project because I've ran into a few issues: Legal: Shady…

Hi this is a work in progress but it works to determine supplement efficacy for 500 conditions at the moment. Things you can do: - search for a condition -> find which supplements are effective -> see which studies indicate they are effective -> read individual study summaries - search for a supplement -> see effectiveness table, dosing, safety, dietary sources, mechanisms of action (+ browse all original sources) let me know what you think

  • Pipes puzzle (a.k.a. Net) on a hexagonal grid▲537

Hello, HN - I wanted to share this puzzle game I made during my vacation. I'm rather fond of the pipes puzzle where your goal is to restore a scrambled network of connections by rotating tiles. It's usually played on a grid of squares and this all started when I decided to make a programmatic solver for that kind of puzzle. Then I realized that with some minor changes the solver could generate new puzzle instances. I thought about what kind of puzzle to make and someone suggested a hexagonal grid. Adapting the generator wasn't too hard but then I had to create a way to play this variant. So…
