In plain words
TinaCMS is the successor to Forestry.io, a content management system for static site generators like Hugo and Jekyll. Maintained by SSW, it allows users to edit and manage site content while commits are automatically saved to their repository. The platform offers both basic editing and visual editing modes with live preview capabilities, branch management, and local development support. TinaCMS is open-source and customizable for developers building static sites.
