Full Rust course material under CC license

What it does
In the maker’s words, at launch
https://github.com/skade/rust-three-days-course https://skade.github.io/rust-three-days-course/presentation/... A while ago, I was asked by a German training supplier to teach a Rust course. For that, I created a full set of course material for three days. Instead of keeping it closed, I decided to contribute the material to the community under CC-4.0 and make the slides localisable. It is implemented using Reveal.js with a couple of extensions for switching language and code display. The course is a loose collection of small presentations showing aspects of the language, allowing to quickly switch around. Recently, I gave the course in English, for which I finished the English translation. A community member currently provides a Spanish translation. I would like to try out how providing material expressively encouraging commercial use works out in the environment of a growing language. In my opinion, the material is very much secondary to the trainers. To others giving trainings: is such a model interesting to you? Do you have thoughts on that? It is currently lacking a meta-guide for people interested in giving the course, but I'm not sure how such a thing would look like. Transporting how to teach something seems to be a hard problem, does anyone have experience with that? I also wrote up some experiences about giving the course on our blog: http://asquera.de/blog/2017-02-27/rust-training/ http://asquera.de/blog/2017-06-06/rust-courses-now-in-englis...

I've implemented a `pl/0 compiler` in `rust-lang` to fulfill the curriculum design for `Principles of Compiler Design` in my college (NUAA, China). Here's the GitHub repository url: https://github.com/DrEden33773/pl_0 As far as I know, `Rust` is not well adpated (even known) by college students around the world. So, this project is to prove that it's totally possible to design a complete & usable project in Rust for a beginner. This implementation has a complete error handling strategy, which means it could find as many errors as possible in one run, instead of being…
