What it does
GitMatcher helps you discover developers based on their actual code contributions on GitHub — not job titles or buzzwords. It analyzes real commits, repos, and patterns to highlight skill, originality, and impact.
GitMatcher is a powerful GitHub sourcing tool for recruitment teams. Analyze code performance, contribution velocity, and technical depth to hire the top 1% of developers.
GitMatcher scans 200M+ repositories to surface developers with the precise technical skills your team needs. Go beyond LinkedIn and hire based on real-world code performance. Bring the power of GitMatcher's technical analysis directly into your AI workflow. Search, filter, and analyze developers without leaving your chat. Stop guessing with resumes. Start sourcing developers based on objective GitHub data. Analyze complexity, logic, and architectural patterns in every commit. We identify creators, not just contributors. Hey HN After years working in software engineering and helping with hiring, I noticed a frustrating pattern: Companies often rely on résumés and LinkedIn titles to find developers instead of looking at what they've actually built. So I built GitMatcher. It analyzes GitHub profiles to surface developers based on: Their public repos Commit history Originality and usefulness of code Patterns that show consistency and real skill No keywords. No job titles. Just code. GitMatcher is useful if you're: - A recruiter tired of resume roulette - A founder looking for a technical co-founder - An OSS…

GitHiredDec 2025 · githired.tech · ▲360Hey HN - today I’m launching GitHired. A hiring platform that ranks developers based on what they actually build — not what they claim on a PDF. It’s called GitHired, and here’s the core idea: GitHub > Resumes Instead of trusting “proficient in React” bullet points, we analyze a candidate’s actual GitHub: their real tech stack their most complex projects how active they are what kinds of contributions they make which skills match your job description and yes, we detect fake “green square farming.” Why we built this Because engineering hiring is broken. Resumes are inflated. Activity charts…

Talanoa▲346Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

Hi everyone, I built PyXL — a hardware processor that executes a custom assembly generated from Python programs, without using a traditional interpreter or virtual machine. It compiles Python -> CPython Bytecode -> Instruction set designed for direct hardware execution. I’m sharing an early benchmark: a GPIO test where PyXL achieves a 480ns round-trip toggle — compared to 14-25 micro seconds on a MicroPython Pyboard - even though PyXL runs at a lower clock (100MHz vs. 168MHz). The design is stack-based, fully pipelined, and preserves Python's dynamic typing without static type restrictions.…
