Give Claude Code control of your browser (open-source)
As I started to use Claude Code to do more random tasks I realized I could basically build any CLI tool and it would use it. So I built one that controls the browser and open-sourced it. It should work with Codex or any other CLI-based agent! I have a long term idea where the models are all local and then the tool is privacy preserving because it's easy to remove PII from text, but I'd definitely not recommend using this for anything important just yet. You'll need a Gemini key until I (or someone else) figure out how to distill a local version out of that part of the pipeline. Github link:…

In plain words
Give Claude Code Control of Your Browser is an open-source tool that enables AI agents like Claude Code and Codex to control web browsers through a CLI interface. Designed for developers experimenting with AI automation, it allows models to perform browser-based tasks programmatically. Currently requires a Gemini API key, with privacy considerations still being developed. The creator notes it works as a proof-of-concept but recommends against using it for sensitive operations at this stage.

BrowserCode – Run Claude Code in the Browser via WebAssemblyMay 2026 · github.com · ▲6We built BrowserCode, a FOSS web app to run TUI agents (Claude Code, Gemini CLI, others coming soon) fully in the browser, locally. To use BrowserCode, you'll need to login to each CLI with the corresponding login, i.e. with your Anthropic account or API key. All the data and execution stays completely local to the browser and it's persistent across sessions thanks to a disk backend based on the Origin Private File System API or IndexedDB. This is running the unmodified Claude Code (and Gemini CLI) command-line tool in browser using BrowserPod (https://browserpod.io), a…
Smooth CLI – Token-efficient browser for AI agentsFeb 2026 · docs.smooth.sh · ▲109Hi HN! Smooth CLI (https://www.smooth.sh) is a browser that agents like Claude Code can use to navigate the web reliably, quickly, and affordably. It lets agents specify tasks using natural language, hiding UI complexity, and allowing them to focus on higher-level intents to carry out complex web tasks. It can also use your IP address while running browsers in the cloud, which helps a lot with roadblocks like captchas (https://docs.smooth.sh/features/use-my-ip). Here’s a demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=62jthcU705k Docs start at…

I built the world's most impractical 1000-pixel display and anyone in the world can draw on it. It draws a single pixel at a time and takes 30-60 minutes to complete a single image. Anyone can participate in the project by voting for the next image to be drawn, and submitting images. https://kilopx.com/

Kitten TTS is an open-source series of tiny and expressive text-to-speech models for on-device applications. We are excited to launch a preview of our smallest model, which is less than 25 MB. This model has 15M parameters. This release supports English text-to-speech applications in eight voices: four male and four female. The model is quantized to int8 + fp16, and it uses onnx for runtime. The model is designed to run literally anywhere eg. raspberry pi, low-end smartphones, wearables, browsers etc. No GPU required! We're releasing this to give early users a sense of the latency and voices…

I was wondering how I can arrange objects along a spherical helix path, and read some articles on it. I ended up learning about parametric equations again, and make this visualization to document what I learned: https://visualrambling.space/moving-objects-in-3d/ feel free to visit and let me know what you think!

For HTML Day 2025 [1], I made a web service that displays the current sky at your approximate location as a CSS gradient. Colours are simulated on-demand using atmospheric absorption and scattering coefficients. Updates every minute, without the use of client-side JavaScript.
