What it does
Gnars are on-chain skateboarders who Skate or Dao (or Die, lol) every 666 blocks. They are born to shred the Nouns, as they are both skaters AND the terrain on which they skate. When bidding on each NFT you decide what % goes to the creators versus charity.
Gnars is a community-owned skateboarding DAO funding skate culture worldwide through auctions, proposals, and grants.
Deposit into a rider's sponsorship vault. Only the yield is shared — you keep 50%, the rider gets 25%, the Gnars treasury gets 25%. Withdraw the principal whenever you want. Sponsorships used to mean one brand writing one check. Now anyone can co-sponsor a rider — deposit, keep your principal, and let the yield do the giving. Gnars Bounties are challenges from the community: pay athletes in ETH to land the tricks, runs, and stunts the community wants to see filmed. Submit an action of removing 20+ pieces of trash from a beach or shallow reef area at a geotagged location.
