Huiyu Pi
Self-hosted AI coding agent with ~80 tokens system prompt
What it does
The Problem Every AI coding tool loads 15K-28K tokens of system prompts before you can even ask a question. The AI spends most of its attention reading the manual, not solving your code. The Solution Huiyu Pi strips everything non-essential: - ~80 tokens system prompt (not 20K) - ~0.3s first token response - 90%+ cheaper Token - 4 basic tools only Quick Start npx huiyu-pi Built on Huiyu Pi is built on pi (by earendil-works) and pi-forge www.huiyu.ai, https://github.com/huiyu9144/Huiyu-Pi
Does the same job

Hey HN, after years building some of the core AI and NLU systems in Google Search, we decided to leave and build outside. Our goal was to put the advanced ML and DS techniques we’ve been using in the hands of all software engineers, so that everyone can build AI and Search apps at the same level of performance and sophistication as the big labs. This was a hard technical challenge but we were very inspired by the MVC architecture for Web development. The intuition there was that when a data model changes, its view would get auto-updated. We built a similar architecture for AI. On one side is…

- PHPi-hosts – Give the Pi coding agent access to your serversApr 2026 · github.com · ▲23
I built that initially for an AI chat bot that allows teams to perform DevOps tasks straight out of Slack/Teams (with proper permission control, obviously). Useful to let developers perform mundane tasks, or help coordinate incident response. I ended up using it myself on my own machine to manage Hetzner and AWS boxes. I thought that may be useful to others. The default policy should be good enough, but if you don't like living dangerously, you can set it to `paranoid`. Install: `pi install npm:pi-hosts` GitHub: https://github.com/hunvreus/pi-hosts

hello everyone, my first post! AA here, founder of ⌘ Langbase.com — we are a developer platform for building and scaling serverless AI memory agents. I know surveys can be boring, but this one’s different—it’s interactive! That's very much intentional. My team and I have been up for the last 21 hours putting together this report. This was a looot of work, so I hope y'all like it. Introducing … State of AI Agents 2024 report On Langbase, we processed 184 billion tokens and handled 786 million AI agent runs from 36K developers. From all that data plus insights from 3.4K builders who filled out…

- H6Homebrew 6.0.0▲1,481
Today, I’m proud to announce Homebrew 6.0.0. The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!
