I implemented gmaxwell's "solvency proof scheme" launched on February 26, 2014 with 29 votes, #528 of 1,100 launches that month and more than 75% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 12 years on.
In plain words
Proof of Solvency is a system that enables users to verify whether Bitcoin exchanges, online wallets, and gambling sites hold sufficient funds to cover deposits, without revealing individual user identities. Implemented based on Gregory Maxwell's scheme, it allows these platforms to prove solvency cryptographically while maintaining privacy. The tool is designed for users who need assurance that online services accepting cryptocurrency deposits are solvent and trustworthy.

http://instantclick.io/ It seems the internet architecture won't bring us instant websites anytime soon. So here is a hack. I released this JS library last month (today is version 2.0 release, fixing v1.0's rough edges), it makes use of HTML5's pushState and preloading to make a website instant. InstantClick uses this delay to preload a page, when you click on a link it will display instantly in most case. (You can test on the website.) That's…
