In plain words
This tool calculates cost comparisons between serverless GPU options and AWS services. Designed for developers and teams evaluating GPU infrastructure choices, it provides a straightforward way to estimate potential savings by running different scenarios side-by-side. The calculator helps users understand pricing differences across cloud providers to make informed infrastructure decisions.

- TCTensorDock Core GPU Cloud – GPU servers from $0.29/hr2022 · tensordock.com · ▲147
Hello HN! I’m Jonathan from TensorDock. After 7 months in beta, we’re finally launching Core Cloud, our platform to deploy GPU virtual machines in as little as 45 seconds! https://www.tensordock.com/product-core Why? Training machine learning workloads at large clouds can be extremely expensive. This left us wondering, “how did cloud ever become more expensive than on-prem?” I’ve seen too many ML startups buy their own hardware. Cheaper dedicated servers with NVIDIA GPUs are not too hard to find, but they lack the functionality and scalability of the big clouds. We thought to…

Hi HN! I made many small web games in the past with Unity or Phaser. But this time I wanted to make something completely on my own. So I coded a basic game framework in plain JavaScript, and used it to make Almost Pong. This was a really fun project that taught me a lot about JavaScript, and I plan to make more minimalist games with this framework. Interesting fact: Almost Pong doesn't load any assets, all sprites and sounds are generated with code. Happy to answer questions, and please let me know if you have any feedback on the game. Thanks!
