I made a site to find top YouTube courses, bypassing expensive courses

In plain words

EduHunt is a platform that helps users find educational content on YouTube rather than purchasing expensive online courses. It aggregates free video tutorials available on YouTube, allowing learners to access educational material without paying course fees. The site targets freelancers and self-learners who want to acquire new skills while saving both money and the time required to search for scattered educational content across the internet.

In the maker’s words, at launch

I don't know about you but I have already personally paid for online courses at more than €600 to become a better freelancer and I ended up hearing from one of the biggest creators of French-speaking online courses that in reality all the information sold in the online courses are available on the Internet. It's just…

  I made a website that converts YT videos into step-by-step guides2024 · stepify.tech · ▲271

Hey HN, I've been working on this side project for the past month. It generates a step-by-step tutorial guide for YouTube videos that you can follow along without watching long videos. Best suited for tutorial videos but can work for other videos aswell. No BS. Just straight to the point. The guides are generated from pure transcript so you don't have to worry about it being AI. It's my first project as a total beginner. Something I had to do inorder to get out of tutorial hell. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or if you face any problems or bugs. I would try to fix them to the…

  Platform to discover educational YouTube videos2023 · edutube.app · ▲16

Hey HN community, excited to share a project that I've worked on. On EduTube you can discover 1000+ hand-selected educational YouTube videos. YouTube has a lot of really great educational content but it's hard to find the really good ones. Personally, I find that the recommendations page often falls short, and I've lost count of how many times I've struggled to select a video to watch while eating, only to end up with cold food. There are a couple of categories that are free and if someone wants to have access to everything there is a 20$ one time payment. I always appreciate feedback if…

  Anki/Duolingo-like app using educational YouTube videos2024 · platoedu.org · ▲289

Hi HN, I watch A LOT of educational YouTube videos but wasn't forgetting a good chunk of the details because I was only really passively watching. So I made a tool that generates quiz questions/flashcards from YouTube videos, and uses spaced repetition like Anki or Duolingo to keep it in memory. Let me know if you find it cool/useful (or terrible ) or if you want to know a bit about the details!
