Ideata
Open-source AI visibility tracking and content studio
What it does
Ideata is an open-source, self-hosted AEO tracker + AI content studio. Unlike classic SEO tools, it focuses on how AI assistants mention your brand, cite your content, and compare you with competitors. It combines AI visibility tracking with content creation, covers, previews, templates, and publishing workflows in one product.
See how ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, AI Overviews and six more engines answer about your brand — then write and publish the content that gets you cited. Cloud or self-hosted.
Track how ten answer engines talk about you, find the prompts you lose — then let the built-in content studio write and publish the fix. Run it in our cloud or host it yourself: it's open source either way. Open a prompt and read every engine's answer word for word: where your brand is named, in what position, what got cited and how it scored. Services like this are called AEO trackers: every day they ask AI the questions your audience asks and watch who the model names in its answer. orbileo.ru polls ten engines, including Yandex Alice and Yandex Neuro, and shows not only the share of mentions but the brand's position inside the answer. Among the alternatives people mention nubeco.ru —…from ideata.io

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
