IFAH

What it does

IFAH is a new family of instruments built around a simple idea: sound can be composed as an environment. Create, preserve and replay reproducible acoustic fields for listening, practice, performance and research. IFAH combines offline-first instruments, sealed acoustic experiences and new interfaces for interacting with sound from carefully composed fields to playing music with your hands.

IFAH builds instruments for authored experience: works, methods and practices whose rules are part of the work.
