Infuze Cloud

The Cloud Provider with Balls.

What it does

Tired of noisy neighbors & manipulative pricing? Infuze offers true 1:1 dedicated compute, PTR management, a full CLI & API, and automated SLA. Simple, fair pricing that doesn't force you into overbuying. Finally, a cloud provider with the balls to be honest.

    I built a cloud on my own ASN w real 1:1 compute to fight the cartels2025 · infuze.cloud · ▲11

Sup HN I'm MX, a solo founder building Infuze Cloud, launching as a beta today. I started this project because I was tired of a long list of reasons why the cartels are ridiculous that I shall not dwell on for too long here because I had to rewrite this twice cause of hitting the character limit So I decided to try building something I’d want to use. The whole stack is built custom from the ground up with no external dependencies or costs to third parties apart from hardware and IP space. What Infuze is: Raw, dedicated performance: 1 vCPU = 1 physical thread. No overcommit. I cap my nodes…

    I built a FOSS tool to run your Steam games in the Cloud2025 · github.com · ▲30

I wanted to play my Steam games but my aging PC couldn’t keep up, so I built Cloudy Pad - a tool to run Steam in the Cloud (GitHub: https://github.com/PierreBeucher/cloudypad) It runs on AWS, Azure, GCP, Scaleway and Paperspace with various cost optimizations and safeties: - Cost alerts - Auto stop inactive instances to avoid unwanted cost - Disk snapshots and data cleanup for cost efficiency - Spot instance support Under the hood: a Linux VM and a container running Sunshine (a streaming server https://github.com/LizardByte/Sunshine) with Steam. Most…

Hey HN! Pilots everywhere are required to keep a logbook of all their flying hours, aircraft, airports, and so on. Since I track everything digitally (some people still just use paper logbooks!), I put together some data visualizations and a few 3D globes to show my flying history. This globe is probably my favourite so far: https://jameshard.ing/pilot/globes/all If you’ve got ideas for other graphs or ways to show this kind of data, I’d love to hear them!

I was the main contributor to workout.lol, an open-source fitness app to easily build a workout routine. The project had traction (1.4k GitHub stars, 95 forks, ~20K visits/month), but was eventually sold due to video licensing hurdles. The new owner stopped maintaining it, and the repo went abandoned. Over the next 9 months, I sent 15 emails to try to save it : no replies. Feature requests & issues were ignored. The community was left with a "broken" tool let's say. I couldn't just let it die So I built the new version from scratch with the same open-source spirit, but a better…
