Ingest

Data pipelines that build and maintain themselves

What it does

Ingest makes it possible for companies to get the data they need without having to build or manage pipelines. Ingest's agents connect any API and build self-healing pipelines that maintain them through source changes. Stop worrying about getting data and start using it.

Ingest connects any API and builds analytics tables in your data warehouse or your own S3 bucket, so you can talk to your data. Live in minutes. Per-GB pricing. Zero maintenance.

Enterprise data is scattered across tools. Ingest builds and maintains every pipeline, and shapes the data into tables people and AI can use. Fully managed, zero engineering. Federal and local government data, from NOAA to 311 requests, ready to query in your own warehouse. Every storefront, payment, and ad channel combined into analytics tables, refreshed daily. SaaS tools for marketing, finance, product, and operations, unified in one warehouse. SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics 365, and Workday, plus custom pipelines for any ERP system. These are just the start. Ingest can connect any data source , and supports many others out of the box. Explore how easy it is to get data with Ingest: Pick a…from ingestdata.ai

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
