Is this the best epoch converter?

I frequently use epochconverter in my day to day work. Sick of old UI, i created new website. Completely redesigned the epoch converter with modern UI elements. Check out - https://epochconverter.dev/ Let me know if you have any improvement to it. Upvote if you liked it.

Does the same job

    I'm 17 and I created a Forth interpreter for the TI-84+ calculator2018 · ▲56

https://github.com/siraben/ti84-forth Hi HN! For the past year I've been getting into programming in Z80 assembly (especially for the TI-84+). More recently I've been learning about the Forth programming language and after a lot of searching online (in vain) for a Forth interpreter for the TI-84, I decided to write one myself. It's been fun demoing this to others, because it's a very unexpected use of a calculator. It's my largest project to date, and I'm interested to know what the HN community thinks, please feel free to critique my code! -- Ben

Timezone converter that tells you if your meeting time sucks2025 · timezig.com · ▲6

I work with a team spread across Sydney, London, and SF. Last month I accidentally called my Aussie colleague at 3am their time during what I thought was a "quick sync". The silence before "mate... do you know what time it is here?" still haunts me. Built this: https://timezig.com It's a timezone converter but it tells you if your meeting time sucks for the other person: - Meeting quality ratings (excellent/good/fair/poor) - Visual indicators for day/night - Shows if it's a holiday in their country - Handles weird cases like Dubai's Sunday-Thursday workweek…

    An 'offline' reverse-geocoder API written in Go2020 · ▲14

I've recently been working with real-time geoJSON data at a rate of 50+ queries per second. SaaS solutions can be prohibitively expensive at this rate, thus, I created go-reverse-geo. Data is pulled from geonames.org and is stored in MongoDB (a requirement of my current project). It is very much a work-in-progress (I wrote it this morning). Hope someone finds it useful. https://paranoia.dev/vivi/go-reverse-geo

  • Hi HN, I built Eigendrum, a web tool that solves the 2D wave equation for arbitrary shapes so you can hear what they sound like as drums. How it works: * Solves -∇²u = λu using finite element analysis (Kφ = λMφ) on a triangle mesh. * Validated to <0.1% error against closed-form solutions for circles (Bessel zeros) and rectangles. * Sound model factors in strike location, Rayleigh damping, and mallet width. * Includes Kac drums I & II to demonstrate identical sound spectra from different geometries. * No frameworks, build steps, or dependencies. Repo and tests:…

Hey HN! I wanted to share something I built over the last few weeks: isometric.nyc is a massive isometric pixel art map of NYC, built with nano banana and coding agents. I didn't write a single line of code. Of course no-code doesn't mean no-engineering. This project took a lot more manual labor than I'd hoped! I wrote a deep dive on the workflow and some thoughts about the future of AI coding and creativity: http://cannoneyed.com/projects/isometric-nyc
