What it does

Minpaku Map scores any Japanese address 0–100 for short-term rental viability using zoning, city ordinances, station access, tourism demand and Airbnb performance data. Built in English for foreign investors buying properties in Japan. Free preview covers Kyoto.

Japan's short-term rental laws are complex. We mapped zoning, ordinances, and Airbnb performance across all 47 prefectures. Under Japan's Private Lodging Business Act, resident hosts live at the property while renting spare rooms. The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano.
