Custom AI models that scale with your stack
JigsawStack v3 launched on April 21, 2025 with 40 votes, #654 of 7,818 launches that month and more than 90% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 1 year on.
What it does
JigsawStack provides specialized AI infrastructure that automates backend development so you can ship products faster. Our custom, small models handle tasks like OCR, text-to-speech, embedding, and scraping, reducing costs and complexity.
Custom small models trained for specialized use cases powered by scalable infrastructure
LLMs requires humans to verify their outputs. We fixed this with specialized models for deterministic tasks like OCR, object detection, web search, STT and more Introducing the world's most deterministic model built on a new architecture and built on JigsawStack's infrastructure. Suite of small models specialized for specific tasks. The underlying infrastructure used in Interfaze. JigsawStack's AI models are organized into three key categories. Data Extraction, Transformation, and Validation. Real-time logs and analytics. Debug errors, track users, location maps, sessions, countries, IPs and 30+ data points Secure and private instance for your data. Fine grained access control on APIfrom jigsawstack.com

Large Language Models (LLMs) are powerful, but they’re limited by fixed context windows and outdated knowledge. What if your AI could access live search, structured data extraction, OCR, and more—all through a standardized interface? We built the JigsawStack MCP Server, an open-source implementation of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) that lets any AI model call external tools effortlessly. Here’s what it unlocks: - Web Search & Scraping: Fetch live information and extract structured data from web pages. - OCR & Structured Data Extraction: Process images, receipts, invoices, and handwritten…

Hi HN, My team and I are building Tabstack to handle the "web layer" for AI agents. Launch Post: https://tabstack.ai/blog/intro-browsing-infrastructure-ai-ag... Maintaining a complex infrastructure stack for web browsing is one of the biggest bottlenecks in building reliable agents. You start with a simple fetch, but quickly end up managing a complex stack of proxies, handling client-side hydration, and debugging brittle selectors. and writing custom parsing logic for every site. Tabstack is an API that abstracts that infrastructure. You send a URL and an intent; we…

I Built an Open Source API with Insanely Fast Whisper and Fly GPUs2024 · github.com · ▲13Hi HN! Since the launch of JigsawStack.com, we've been trying to dive deeper into fully managed AI APIs built and fine tuned for specific use cases. Audio/video transcription was one of the more basic things and we wanted the best open source model at this point it is OpenAI's whisper large v3 model based on the number of languages it supports and its accuracy. The thing is, the model is huge and requires tons of GPU power for it to run efficiently at scale. Even OpenAI doesn't provide an API for their best transcription model while only providing whisper v2 at a pretty high price. I…

Hi everyone, I built PyXL — a hardware processor that executes a custom assembly generated from Python programs, without using a traditional interpreter or virtual machine. It compiles Python -> CPython Bytecode -> Instruction set designed for direct hardware execution. I’m sharing an early benchmark: a GPIO test where PyXL achieves a 480ns round-trip toggle — compared to 14-25 micro seconds on a MicroPython Pyboard - even though PyXL runs at a lower clock (100MHz vs. 168MHz). The design is stack-based, fully pipelined, and preserves Python's dynamic typing without static type restrictions.…
