What it does

Jina is your AI QA engineer that tests apps end-to-end and catches bugs autonomously, at scale. It understands UI, code, and user intent. Doesn't rely on test scripts or CSS selectors and requires no maintenance.

Jina understands the impact of every code change, learns from past issues, runs your app on PRs, and gives teams a concise issue list with a merge score.

Jina is an autonomous AI QA engineer that understands the impact of every code change on your system, learns from all past issues, and actually runs your app on PRs to catch and fix potential bugs. Jina starts with your code, infrastructure, and issue history. It builds a layered map of how those pieces connect so every decision has context. On each PR, it traces impact paths through that map and picks the parts most likely to break. This area controls when customers are allowed to create billable work and how `off`, `shadow`, and `on` modes change behavior. Jina chose it because rollout transitions can turn old shadow traffic into real backlog. This area owns the path from usage intake to…from usejina.com

We initially built Jina as an AI QA engineer. The value prop was simple - turn a prompt into a test case. But as we worked with customers, we discovered something much more powerful. We could have Jina be your user. Take on your user's persona, explore your app like them catch bugs like they would. All in addition to of course a core foundation in writing QA tests from a single prompt with 0 maintenance.

Hi, I'm Daniel, CEO of QA.tech. We've spent the past 18 months developing a cool tool that allows you to run end-to-end tests on any web application using natural language. Check it out and let us know what you think! I used to be a CTO at a B2C marketplace and was taken aback that all qa agencies we talked to wanted to create a custom suite of tests from scratch. Even though we were essentially a e-com with the same functionality as everyone else. Why weren't there any best practices? Some time later my co-founders and I had moved on and were looking for the next thing to do. AI agents…

Hey HN! Pilots everywhere are required to keep a logbook of all their flying hours, aircraft, airports, and so on. Since I track everything digitally (some people still just use paper logbooks!), I put together some data visualizations and a few 3D globes to show my flying history. This globe is probably my favourite so far: https://jameshard.ing/pilot/globes/all If you’ve got ideas for other graphs or ways to show this kind of data, I’d love to hear them!

  • I was the main contributor to workout.lol, an open-source fitness app to easily build a workout routine. The project had traction (1.4k GitHub stars, 95 forks, ~20K visits/month), but was eventually sold due to video licensing hurdles. The new owner stopped maintaining it, and the repo went abandoned. Over the next 9 months, I sent 15 emails to try to save it : no replies. Feature requests & issues were ignored. The community was left with a "broken" tool let's say. I couldn't just let it die So I built the new version from scratch with the same open-source spirit, but a better…
