Kanunilabs Components
React DataGrid & PivotGrid that survive a million rows
What it does
◆ High-performance React data components. Sort, filter, group and scroll a million rows without freezing the UI — the heavy work runs in a Web Worker. Community tier is free on npm with no licence key. Try it in the browser, no signup.
DataGrid and PivotGrid components for React — and DataGrid for plain JavaScript, no framework required. A million rows with Web Worker offload, editing, grouping, charts and styled export. One licence covers both. Try them live.
A million rows, sorted and filtered in a Web Worker — measured, not claimed. 95 of 134 features need no licence key. Two components, real data, running in your browser. Nothing to install. No trial clock, no watermark, no signup. Commercial use included. The paid tiers start where you change the data and where you take it out — editing, server-side data, styled Excel and PDF export, charts. npm install @kanunilabs/datagrid-react import { DataGrid } from '@kanunilabs/datagrid-react'; import '@kanunilabs/datagrid-react/styles.css'; <DataGrid gridId="sales" dataSource={rows} rowKey="id" columns={columns} style={{ height: 600 }} /> No bundler configuration: the Web Worker is compiled into the…from kanunilabs.com

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
